extract file tar gz yang sudah didownload
$tar -xf iP2200_Linux_260.tar.gz
Tahap 3 :
Hapus paket rm yang tidak diperlukan
$rm -Rf cnijfilter-common-2.60-1.src.rpm
Tahap 4 :
Lakukan konversi dari paket rpm menjadi .deb’s
$sudo alien -d -c *.rpm
Tahap 5 :
Instal paket .deb
$sudo dpkg -i *.deb
Tahap 6 :
Instal libgtk1.2
$sudo apt-get install libgtk1.2
Tahap 7 :
Membuat symbolik link
$sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 /usr/lib/libpng.so.3
$sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libxml2.so.2 /usr/lib/libxml.so.1
$sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libpng12.so.0 /usr/lib/libpng.so.2
$sudo ln -s /usr/lib/libtiff.so.4 /usr/lib/libtiff.so.3
Tahap 8 : (optional)
konfigur file ip2200 ppd
$sudo gedit /usr/share/cups/model/canonip2200.ppd (default 600dpi)
*OpenUI *CNQuality/Quality: PickOne
*DefaultCNQuality: 3
*CNQuality 2/High: “2”
*CNQuality 3/Normal: “3”
*CNQuality 4/Standard: “4”
*CNQuality 5/Economy: “5”

Tahap 8 :
Restart CUPS
$sudo killall cupsd
$sudo cupsd
Tahap 9 :
Add new Printer di Printer Setting
buka dialog printer system setting
Add New Printer
Pilih CanonIP1300 USB # entry
Pada saat memilih manual, pilih file ppd
Browse ke /usr/share/cups/model/canonip2200.ppd
lakukan apply semua setting dan tutup wizard
Tahap 10 :
Tes halaman printer Canon Pixma ip1300 seharusnya bisa berjalan dengan baik.

This might be a strange question, however I am a vegan, and I’m trying to find printer toner that do not have some animal “element”. I understand that a lot of compatible toner cartridges contain perhaps ingredients that are tested with rabbits, or are made with animal stuff. Does anyone know of any toners which are completely man-made?
I’ve admired Canon for some time. A number of months ago I think that as a business it has gone off the boil. For a short time their particularly camcorder quality was not what it was and in my experience, the quality of Canon’s camcorder goods went downhill. HAVING SAID THAT, now I think they have become tops even though they are not the cheapest camcorders.
